How it started
Pastor Mike Hill, his family, and a small group of people planted Life Church back in the fall of 2004. The team prayed that God would use them to help bring the love of Jesus to the lost of Huntington. God’s plan has given us a diverse group of people who are at different places in their walk with Jesus, others are fully devoted followers of Christ. As a church we want to continue to dream with God and be obedient to Him as we help every person take their next step towards Jesus…together. Out of the dream we are in a 60,000 square foot building with two services on Sunday morning, two business for mission organizations: the Cafe of Hope and Champs Academy which give us opportunities for building relationships throughout the week. This journey has been hard, messy, filled with things that were way beyond what we could have ever asked for or imagined and it has also been so beautiful! God did not and has not disappointed!
